The cut of a diamond is the most important factor in determining the amount of light that is returned to the eye. We specialize in Ideal cut and very good cut diamonds that return most of the light entering a diamond through the table back up through the table and to the eye. This creates scintillation and brilliancy. a magical play of flash. A diamond of poor cut will appear flat and cloudy or very chunky with a small diameter for its size. A poor cut diamond will lose most of the light entering the table through its pavilion or lower portion leaving the diamond dull and cloudy looking.
